I have seen this series of pictures elsewhere, and it cost me a lot of time to find out the words on it since I could not understand them. How surprised was I when I found the painter here and knew that they are books from Philip Pullman. I will have a good look of these books.

С фамилией да, меня тоже смутило это сначала, но что странно его фамилию на английском пишут с двумя "Л" а на русском с одной. Проверяла в инете. Книги уже изданы, так решило издательство, видать знают как надо.

Ruby in the Smoke is the first part of the Sally Lockhart Mysteries by Philip Pullman. I love this book and Philip Pullman is one of my favorite writers. You might know him from His Dark Materials.
