Here's another little creature sketch, this time of a Wurm!
Those are basically two-legged dragon-like snakes, usually with four or six eyes and semi-aquatic. Wurms are related to snakes, as the snakes of my world possess atrophied front legs (looks more like little tiny clawed fins than paws). While snakes evolved to loose both their limbs and large size, wurms evolved a larger size and bony protusions.

The Fire-bellied wurm is the second biggest wurm, reaching a lenght of around 15 metres (50 feet) and weight 2500 kg but with some specimens reaching more than 20 metres (65 feet). The biggest wurm is the Giant wurm, which reach a length of 30 metres (100 feet) and weight up to 5300 kg. The Fire-bellied wurm is more common but is more likely to attack humans. Though it usually raise up and open its mouth wide, exposing its bright red tongue, to intimidate attackers, its habit of resting submerged means it cannot use this defense against boats unknowingly approaching the wurm. The attacks often ends when the boat is sunk but drownings or direct attacks aren't that uncommon. The Fire-bellied wurm live in the wetlands of the Southern Drocosiane, most commonly on the Warha Isle. There are many Wurm safari tours on the isle, where a large hovercraft will safely bring tourists close to Fire-bellied wurms. This wurm is known for its brightly colored belly, which brighten even more during mating season. Its skeleton is often displayed inside government buildings and libraries, as this specie symbolize the desire of discovery and was a traditionnally difficult creature to hunt. Many festivities of Southern Drocosiane will have wurm-inspired decorations as well as parades with a Fire-bellied wurm puppet. This wurm is one of the best known fauna of the island.

Oh and I'm beginning to name/map my little world. Its way more fun than I thought! Maybe I'll even post a map.
