I talk about look you gave to characters. It is horribly uncreative, following common style, yet this style portrays characters in quite distorted way.

Also, if you say that this style makes the characters look distorted; well I have to say that art in general has many forms and each has their own charm and faults.

I always said that, if someone can't invent own style and designs, they should copy decent ones. Not the most popular, which is wrong by its nature, but best ones.
And by distortion, I meant wrong portrayal.

But to be perfectly honest with you, I can't just change the way I draw just like that. I can see that going for the popular choice rather that the 'better' can lead to more.. popularity; but if that's what people want to draw, then they'll draw it, and if people choose to like it or not like it is also their own opinion.
I actually saw your picture about the Flippy comparison and I completely respect your opinion, but like another user said. I just can't see myself drawing a more toned and older man over a 'pretty boy'. That's just the way I can draw.

That may be true, but I still enjoy drawing him this way. I'm really quite sorry if it bothers you though :C It's my way of showing my appreciation to the character; through my way of drawing him.
