I spent WAAAAY too much time on this one. I had originally planed to just do a simple color on it, make it look like a book illumination, but it didn't end up that way at all. And then, when I thought I was close to done I realized, thanks to feedback from friends, that the linework was really messed up. I had to clean it up, fix it and start all over with the shading. I'm glad I did though, because it looks much better now.I was going for a very nonspecific Link, so I mixed and matched elements from his various costumes and made up a few things. For a long time, it still looked like the water temple battle. Adding leaves on the trees helped that.
I made it a widescreen wallpaper aspect ratio, so it should make a good wallpaper. Post a comment to let me know if it's not a big enough resolution, I can upload a bigger one.

Totally! Also kinda wish they had more choice for outfits...i mean don't get me wrong i love the hero's tunic and all but....i'd kill for something black or red XD

XD sure, sure. Lol yeah i loved the prevous games for the multiple outfits. Also i loved removing his shield in certain games. (Well destroying it XD cause i think he looks cooler without one. Was a pain in TP cause all the moves to learn meant i had to re-equip it then destroy it again.)

Yup wish you could just click on it again to un equip.... dunno if it's classed as a glitch or a cheat. Either way they better not remove it. I prefer link with just a sword and that sprinting stuff in the new game would look awesome without a shield too XD (In TP i used to just go to the fire cave with a wooden shield and let it burn. Then i found these goblins that fire fire arrows at you and that burns it too so made my job easier and with so many rubies around i could afford it XD the other games were alittle harder to lose your shield though.)

1) Of course! I'm not so good at finishing the games though. I die a lot.
2) Gosh, I don't know. I've played Minish Cap all the way through more than once so that means something I suppose.
3) My wish will come true with Skyward Sword! I've always wanted to swing and poke at things and have Link do the same. Twilight Princess was close, but Link didn't really follow your moves. And I also get to play him left handed like he should be! I'd also really love for Zelda to be a little less D.I.D. and a little more central to the plot.

Total awesome! I expecially love the shading, and that woodgrain on the shields is really striking. Wonderful job with colors and detail!

Thank you! I'm glad I didn't give up on it. I wasn't sure that the wood grain would show up once I shrunk it, but I like putting details like that even if it's only for me.

Awesome. Link looks kind of cross-eyed, though. His left eye is looking at Dark Link and his right eye is STARING INTO MY SOUL. XP

Oh dear, he does look rather cross eyed. That's so weird, he doesn't in the larger version, but you can't see the other side of the whites of his eyes in this smaller version. I'll have to fix that. Thank you for pointing it out.
