Description
Part 2 of the series where I replicate styles of artists I admire/reference.
Gustav Klimt is a personal favorite and long-time inspiration… with a style really outside of my own. I did about 3 versions of this one before deciding to focus on his work in Roman and Greek Mythology (I love his Athena and Hygeia pieces), the use of gold leaf, the high contrast, and the detailed figures on a mostly flat surface.

i looove klimt! but maybe i could mention something? maybe this is too dark (i mean i like it) but maybe you could've added another colorful pattern in the background behind her clothes (so it doesn't get lost with the bg)? I always love how you use the gold details though!
