So I did this forever ago and wanted to save it as the grand finale of my to- do list! But I waited too long and now it's just an "Eh" piece to me. Ah well, c'est la vie.
When I orginally saw the lineart I was enamored by it's intricate and simple details. I saw great potential in it but because I was swamped with work I tried to put it out of my mind. After a whole day of restless thinking I requested to do a coloring of it. And here it is!

It always makes me think of the time I listened to it early in the morning when I was out camping... the morning was so cold... the sky was icy blue- like the sky was frozen. And, of course, the black birds were singing.
I love mornings like that... too bad I sleep in too much!
