Here is an fan-art of Apeface with his Headmaster partner, Spasma.

And yes, I replicated that glitch from "The Rebirth" where Apeface retains his beast mode head when his partner Spasma is separated from him.

In the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity however, the head unit pictured here is Apeface and the large robot that can transform into a gorilla and a fighter jet is just a lifeless Transtector body controlled entirely by the head unit, although the head unit is still refered as "Spasma" when separated from the larger robot body, it's meant to be Apeface!
