Here is an fan-art of Slugslinger's Targetmaster partner Caliburst from the fourth and final season of The Transformers. He was voiced by the late-great Johnny Haymer, who also voiced Vortex, Swindle, Highbrow and Recoil. Haymer's voice for Caliburst is patterned after Rodney Dangerfield..... which is rather appropiate for an acting ham.

An Nebulan hailing from the planet of Nebulos, Caliburst is an member of the Hive and loyal to Lord Zarak. Due to the continued use of his mental powers, Caliburst's original flesh-and-blood body weakened, forcing his brain to be transferred into a robotic body in order for him to survive which was embarrassing for him, but when he was binary-bonded to Slugslinger, his life would change as he was granted an exo-suit to wear so that it could enable him to become Slugslinger's gun. Upon introducing himself to Slugslinger, he told his partner that he never missed a shot in his life.

In the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity however, Caliburst is instead a robotic lifeform from the planet of Master, like the rest of the Targetmasters, and could only speak in a series of electronic beeps that only his bonded-partner Slugslinger could understand.
