Description
This time, Road Hauler, Blurr, another Aimless (always stuck in gun mode), Laserbeak and Cloudburst/Phoenix have joined.First I got Pointblank and his Nebulan Targetmaster partner Peacemaker on the 25th of February . They are my first figures from the Transformers: Legacy toyline.
Secondly, in a double-bill when I went out to Nostalgia Unlimited in Weymouth on the 21st of March , I got Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Firedrive/Firebolt and an vintage Overkill from the 1987 portion of The Transformers toyline, who was sold in Hasbro-markets with Slugfest and sold by himself in Japan by Takara, he and Slugfest are some of the rarer figures from that toyline due to them only appearing in one episode of the show, and the fact their toys being sold for a year before the line underwent an overhaul in 1989 with all the remaining figures from the previous years (except Powermaster Optimus Prime) discontinued despite the fact they were reissued in Japan in 2009, it also does not help that they have less media presence and fewer toys than Sky Lynx (who had five), and Overkill himself has yet to get an official very G1 faithful figure from Hastak that would likely be accurate to Overkill's G1 cartoon character model. Overkill also happens to be the first Decepticon I got for this year.
Thirdly, we have Kickback, who happens to be the second figure from the Transformers: Legacy toyline (although Kickback was released in the line's first wave) as I got him in the evening of the 2nd of April .
Fourth, in a marathon when I went to Weymouth , I got myself Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Aimless and Transformers: Legacy: Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Cybertron Universe Override at Toymaster, and then I got myself Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Lionizer and an vintage Slugfest from the 1987 portion of The Transformers toyline at Nostalgia Unlimited, the words I said about Overkill also apply here with Slugfest as he too was sold on his own in Japan, and the fact that his toy (along with Overkill's toy) is rare despite an Japan reissue in 2009.
Fifth, I got Skullgrin and Elita-1 on my birthday , thus making them the fourth and fifth figures from the Transformers: Legacy toyline that I get.
And sixth, when I did my second Weymouth shopping haul on the 23rd of May , I got two more figures from the Transformers: Legacy: Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection subline which were Road Hauler and Blurr, as well as another Transformers War for Cybertron: Siege Aimless (for the sake of displaying in gun mode, hence why he's being welded by Skullgrin in the picture) at Weymouth Toymaster, and then I got myself the Vintage G1 2019 reissue version of Laserbeak (which has the truncated gun barrels and new rubsign) and Cloudburst (who was sold in Japan as Phoenix from Transformers: Super-God Masterforce) from The Transformers (G1) toyline (who despite being incomplete unlike Laserbeak at least still has his Pretender shell) at Nostalgia Unlimited.
