Here is an fan-art of Spasma, Apeface's Headmaster, from The Transformers' fourth and final season. He was voiced by the late Tony St. James, who also voiced Brawl, as well as two Terrorcons, Blot and Cutthroat, while voiced by the late Georges Atlas in the show's French dub.

An Nebulon, born on the planet Nebulos, he is loyal to Lord Zarak's Nebulons known as the Hive and was binary-bonded to the Decepticon Horrorcon Apeface, and could either form the latter's head or be the pilot of Apeface's fighter jet mode. Unlike the original Apeface figure (and it's Siege updating ) and the commercial promoting the Headmaster Horrorcons where he is depicted as the head of Apeface, the pilot of the fighter jet and the head of the gorilla mode, he could only become the head of Apeface's robot mode.

In the Marvel Comics continuity, he was an flesh-and-blood Nebulon , but the American G1 cartoon continuity presented him as an robotic Nebulon like the rest of the Hive-allied Nebulans (save for Grax and Lord Zarak).

In the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity however, he does not exist as a separate entity from Apeface, and so if Apeface does not become the head of his Transtector, his head unit would be called "Spasma".
