Description
Here's the resin mask that has kept my attention for the past 15 hours. My deadline for college tuition draws closer and I'm just a few hundred short, hence this. He's a resin mask, excellent moving jaw, and good vision. Thing is he's real close to being done... except I can't decide if I want his ears back or forward. In the deviation I've left a short description of what will show and what will not if the ears are forward or back... Tell me what you think!Related content

Personally, I think back looks better. Adds something to the expression.

Or choose something in between? ...interesting as well ... and back and forth. Cool!)

I think if you put the ears on a rotating base or something, you could rig them such that you could move both of them.

I don't know what your material limitations are, but the way I would do it is with something along the lines of the type of joints you see in posable stuffed animals. Basically, it's just a pin and a washer.

I like ears back better. I also saw that some people were saying how they liked one back and one forward. Maybe it's the forehead marking but that looks very odd.

Is there anyway to make them posable / movable?
Otherwise ears back look unique... But then again the one back, one forward is also pretty awesome!

Wow. Still amazing Sharpe19! I say keep one forward and one back or to the side. Gives it a little bit more personality..XD

So many people have said that. I think I may just leave it up to the bidder so I don't have to worry about it. XD

er, why not both? one ear perks up, the other stays down?
honestly i like both ears back & both ears forward. for originality & less common, ears back. for common friendly look, ears forward.

If you did what you did with the white mask and shaved the forward ears, it'd look nice; otherwise the backwards ones are awesome

I personally like them back a bit...shows the markings better, but doesn't make him look as happy, lol. But somehow it suits the markings to me.

Hrmm.... I do see your problem. But I personally think that it's cute to have one ear forward and one ear back, like you have in the picture. It gives it a sort of unique personality. But if I was forced to choose one or the other, I'd go with putting the ears back. It's not something you see often in most furry heads, and I think it sort of fits the expression you've got going here.

Heh, someone said the same thing, about doing both. I'll see what people say.
