So I got a few notes regarding my latest journal-entry ( [link] ) and a few of you sent me notes like "You have a point, but you do not know what it is like to be a girl with crappy selfasteem.", and "You're a guy, you don't know what drives people to put on a display". And I kind of felt they had a point there!Soooooo....
As I am no novice to wearing make-u, and I have no real experience of using the Duck-face, I decided to try this out! Now.... Does ANYONE think that this is a good look for me???
Thanks to my special girl Anna for the great effort in making half my face go female!

I believe that all efforts to satisfy the public opinion is a sign of low selfesteem. Not all people who do the DF or similar things have low selfesteem but it is definately associated with it

If gnawing your arm for attention (like some people in some cases almost do) then it can be compared, but what I am saying is that you should NOT start gnawing your forearm or any other metaforically insane idea!

Nah I get that people react. Reasons being both that they believe me to be contradictory to my own persona, and that they might recognize the behaviour in themselves somewhere, but thats ok

Keep the lipstick within your natural lip line and sure, it looks fine, although pretty heavy. It brings out your eyes. 
I'm unsure how a pose like a duck face (and its associated body language) is supposed to help a girl with low self-esteem. Good posture and natural movements that accentuate longer body lines are always going to be more attractive. Then again, in high school I mostly ate lunch in the library because the cafeteria tended to throw food at my table, so... my opinions generally don't match what most girls are doing

Well, basic psychology states that potential partners who openly show insecurity (which most people see nowadays when they see all these little temporary body-mods) instantly becomes less attratctive both sexually and professionally, so you are right!
Btw, all those kids who throw food in the cafeteria all show sighns of insecurity and gelousy aswell, so congrats on winning highschool!
