These are amazing!! I am looking for a set like this for my OC, I'm gonna cosplay her at some point. Do you use a power machine to sew the insides then rivet the armor pieces?

Never go by ounce, only by thickness and density=/ And this is 2mm and 3.5mm ox mainly!

I love seeing the results of a person with a passion and a gift. Just reading Neverwinter II, and I thought to look up some brain candy. Thank you for sharing.

any advice for someone who is thinking of doing some leather work? where to start, tools, where to get the leather etc? (after seeing your work i have a million ideas running around my head that i could incorporate into my own work....)

I've worked with homemade tools for the most part of my days in leatherworks, and I but the leather from various shops and carveries (I think its called) here in Sweden.
Don't really know where to start as I have no ed myself=/ Just start trying stuff out and buy different types of leather and see how they react to water, heat, carving, hammering etc

How much would you sell these for if you were to make them for someone?
π: 0 β©: 1
Sharpener In reply to Viothiel [2010-04-13 22:32:52 +0000 UTC]
I do not replicate the armors used in our drowhouse as they are specifically designed to fit the characters, but I could make something simular Costs would vary alot depending on sizes detailing and materials though

Ahh, well something similar would be amazing as well, where do you guys LARP? We are up in Massachusetts, I play with my friend who plays the Drow/Dark Elf [as they are called in this game] at a game called Knight Blades and they have a whole group of Dark Elves, and I also play at NERO Massachusetts[Ravenholt]. Your leather work is amazing, I wish I knew how to do it myself and had the supplies to do so, I'd love to make leather masks, because they looks the simplest to make haha! I'll let you know if he comes up with a design and a budget for any new gauntlets because I think thats what he is mostly looking for.
