Commissioned helmet shipped to Germany
This was one of those recent commissions that took alittle more time than planned and so, to repay that lost time I made it in some more detail and handsewn instead of studded for the customer
No, I will not replicate, note me and recieve a helmet redesigned to fit you and YOUR character instead!

Very cool, but I'd lose the celtic knots next time. Those knots represent a certain spirituality, continued life, trinity type of thing. Not very drow like

Ah, but I got the research alright, cuz as drow favor continued existance and evergrowing power and influence, alongside giving of false pretense I thought it quite fitting! Plus it looks good..XP

I see both your points as well but you seem to be attacking not critiquing when you state that he should do more research next time. Why not pose it as a question instead? His other pieces do not seem to have random stamps smashed onto leather and appear well thought out and planned. You are right in stating we should wait for the crafters response though!
To the crafter: I love the intricate details and obvious care you put into all your pieces. It's rare to see this level of craftsmanship I too am wondering about the trinity knots but this does not affect my love of your work

It was commissioned, so it's not like he necessarily made all of the decisions on the decorations.

Not as much as you would think, the front ridge gives a bit of room and guides the air in and out
