No special methods really. Just zoomed in a bit to drop the dof, it was taken in a park in june. Just getting around to submitting it now, figured with winter we could use some colors.

You are welcome. It's sad that macro is so hard to get a broad focus on as the whole group would be stunning.

yeah i agree, a dSLR would probably do a much better job as well, but i do the best with what i have.

Oh, I do hear that. I'm using a friend's Canon Digital Rebel with 2 lenses, 18-55mm and 75-300mm. I guarantee whichever one is on the camera is the wrong one! I want a Nikon DSLR with, say, 18-300mm (if they made one), waa, waa!

Nikon just released a D40, which is quite affordable as far as dSLRs go, let alone Nikon brand. Not too stripped down either, you lose a few things but you also gain quite a few features as well over the d50. Pentax has also done pretty good with their latest dSLRs, they look nice.

I'll have to go scout Nikon again. I'd rather not change brands since I have a Nikon 8008 and several lenses for it which can be used on a DSLR. Sigh... Decisions, decisions...

Superb colour and composition, but I'd probably lean towards focusing on the central flower rather than the one at right. Otherwise, love it...
