Dawn finally gets her due- I thought of a lot of options but again went for the 'Playtime' sort of feel-As she's young enough to really raise dA mods' eyebrows I'll only upload the first variation here- see the set at

Do people just have no need for blankets or jammies in anime?

Animators not putting in the time to draw a different set of clothes or remove unnecessary clothing items like shoes, jackets or hats for their charactors. (Either by laziness or time/creativity constraints.)
Western media (Mostly American made/American made in mind animation and american live action series.) and Very big/very small and obscure animation series are NOTORIOUS for doing that. (Probably because it is not really a thing we are culturally concerned about.)
(Like I see many series where the main characters wear the same attire almost 100% The western animation Fairy Odd parents or if you want an eastern animation Hosii no Kaabii/Sonic X [and pokemon to an extent: thought I think they have been sort of getting better at that but I hadn't grown up with pokemon so I'm no expert come to mind for that.)
Eastern (Meaning european and asian.) media is actually better at that sort of thing than America because of cultural awareness and norms that exist in thoes countries.

Is her head supposed to be so big compared to the rest of her body? I don't know if there's some fancy perspective thing going on, but everything from the neck down looks super small.
(This is still a cute picture set, though.)

I'd say that it's his draw style - but I really love the not-so-realistic size ration between the head and the body. Really draws out the expression that way.

And so Dawn lies down, eyes closed, sleeping peaceably and soundly. Little did she know of the invader in her house, stalking and creeping about freely with rope and tape in hand.
