I like this concept. I think its practical for all-terrain landing for special forces or something.A camera on the bottom of the helicopter would scan the landscape and create a 3-dimensional graph of the terrain below it and the robotic legs would extend to the perfect height.
Perhaps it could have reflexes also? I have seen something like robot reflexes on YouTube. Check out the video called "Big Dog Robot" Its a really incredible robot that has reflexes and doesn't fall even if you try to push it over. It looks alive!

I really like the design and function. How you included a camera to scan the landscape so the legs would fixate into a position, rather than letting it be loose and land felt very realistic. Keeping it a gunship with extra landing capability, rather than a "winged walker" keeps it function-based, while not getting overly ... out of hand? I'm at a loss of words today.

Nice gunship comrade! All terrain lander. Now we can upload and unload stuffs anywhere! But it has a cargo compartment?
