Its actually quite simple, I just start with a standard Blindbag like these: 4.bp.blogspot.com/-ztwPTTubyH8…

Then I clip off the standard manes and tails, and sculpt new ones on with modeling putty, plus any accessories like the steampunk wings and hat on Derpy here.
then its simply a lick of paint and its done.

Thanks. You confused me for a sec, until I noticed the dodad on her front leg does look like a clock.
