for 'in concert' photos you've done amazingly well with lighting/exposure. this is my favourite of the lot - beautiful.

Honestly, part of the art is to deliberately underexpose on purpose (using manual exposure) and shooting in camera RAW. Then, when bringing it into Photoshop, you can fine-tune the exposure to perfection.

ya, i'm certainly familiar with the effectiveness of underexposure in some conditions, and you've used it to great effect here, but i know little about shooting in RAW mode. more to learn should i guess.

mmm. i can almost hear the music. i suppose it achieves what my asshole teacher last semester smugly called "musicality," when pointing out what my earlier work lacked.
i love the contrast in this photograph...mostly because your highlights aren't blown out, but it's still high contrast and...yeah. that makes it a very compelling photograph. composition - awesome, the gesture of her arms and the mic/mic stand....and mostly because you aren't afraid to crop close in to your subject. props for that. most people make the gross and boring mistake of leaving waaay too much nothing/background space. context? who needs loads of background clutter to give you context, if your subject is strong in the first place lol. good job!! I like your work!
