Indeed! I just have the 2. That's plenty... can't imagine having more. Even with an auto feeder 3x a day, they still meow at me for food every time I get near the bowls.

Honestly, it depends on the cat. Niether one of mine used to inhale their food like they do now, so it may have been triggered by going out of town more often in the past couple years.
