Since the original incident Rust has been training as hard as he could, and later, with Shane's help his stats would be somewhere just slightly below average for his species, he can still kick ass pretty good.

PERSONALITY: The first thing one will notice about Rust is that he's friendly, and especially so to those who seem new, lost, or in need of help. He's not particularly keen on fighting but that doesn't mean that he won't or doesn't know how to fight. He prefers spending his time with entertaining things such as books, movies, games and so forth, and is very comfortable letting his other teammates do the fighting (and they're very eager to fight - lovable meatheads XD). Despite being arguably the weakest fighter on the team, Rust is the most level-headed of them, not as mellow and pacifistic as Axiom, but not as quick to throw punches as Python. He knows when to fight and when to step away, and even in dire situations keeps his cool - this being the reason Shane chose him as his 'main' digimon for Assembly's run.

Like Shane, and possibly even more than the human, Rust will not tolerate any kind cheating, hacking, unfair play, or mistreatment of digimon, you're sure to end up on his blacklist by doing such things.

He greatly enjoys puzzle games and rpgs.

Fighting Style: Rust likes to fight at closer range in all his forms, despite being capable or mid and even longer range combat in most forms, he uses his superior speed to evade enemy blows while delivering fast and precise special attacks or flurries of melee attacks.

Also, it can move nimbly to unleash a high-speed barrage of punches (Gao Rush).
