Personality: Rayleigh has the outer appearance of being aggressive or surly but she is actually really friendly. However, she has occasional bouts of temper [usually triggered by another were] which can lead to being destructive. She likes to wear white shirts; she sees them as a blank canvas at the start of a new day.

Background: Rayleigh was born in Mississippi and lived there until she was attacked. Around that time she went on a camping trip with her brother, parents and one of their friends. They were going to camp for two days. The second night something attacked and left everyone dead or missing except for Rayleigh, who had a badly mangled leg and refused to speak. She still has a huge scar rendered on her leg below the knee. This happened when she was seven so she didn't know she'd been infected until her twelfth birthday. She lived with her Aunt until then, but after Rayleigh discovered she was "a monster" she ran away, leaving nothing but a note. She ran away, of course, believing that she might hurt her aunt. She lived successfully in the woods for a week until she came upon an old werewolf in the woods. Luckily for Ray he was a kindly grandfather type and helped her accept herself. Until she could control her changes, he said her would guide her every turning and convinced her to return to her very worried Aunt. Soon she became steadfast friends with the grizzled old wolf. When Ray was 16 the old werewolf was "accidentally" shot while out for a walk by a man who claimed to have been out hunting for deer. Ray knew he was an enemy immediately; who hunts with silver bullets?
Afraid for herself and full of anger, she confronted the man at his house in werewolf form. Afterwards, sick at what she'd done, she fled and hastily cleansed herself in a forest stream before returning guiltily home with thoughts racing through her head. What would the consequences of this night be?
Her town became up at arms about a dangerous and huge beast and Ray panicked. She convinced her Aunt to move; her Aunt believing that Rayleigh was panicking from memories of the camping trip.
They lived together until Rayleigh was 20. Afterwards Ray decided to move out to Hamilton County where she has lived for a little over 2 years now. She has managed to live fairly peacefully after the incident 7 years ago, although she's still fearful that that night might come back to haunt her. She works in a quiet flower shop and paints.

Character Use: I'm open to you using Rayleigh in a challenge or otherwise, but she's a little socially inept and weird around other werewolves. I'd really appreciate if you'd contact me so we can discuss interaction! Don't worry, I don't bite.
Non-sexual, non-violent interaction is generally fine... Ray's not much of a conflict kind of person.
