ShaiLin is my lovely thespian character--she's the best actress and, consequently, the best liar in the group. Even Raedor and Veyndra, who can read minds without even touching mental barriers, can't tell when she lies. Much of this acting ability was learned from DaeRen. Deaf and mute, DaeRen and his insights on body language and non-verbal communication continually aid Lin in more ways than her command of tone or choice of words ever have.
