Guyver Unit 01. My favorite anime series of all time. The first one anyways. I believe it was five or six episodes. Then I think they made 6-12 to finish it up but the anime was different and sho looked older which really pissed me off. They also re-released it about a year ago I think but I didn't like it too much. Sho looks too old again.So this is my homage to the first Guyver series.

yeah i got Guyver on video when i was a kid, i loved it, i havent drawn it in YEARS, ha and Misako getting nude at the end, they just couldnt resist.....okay i'll do a Guyver too

Gotta say the Guyver is one of my all-time favorite characters, too. I'd recommend the live-action American ones, but the first was just horrible (not even fun to watch to make fun of it). Guyver 2: Dark Hero was straight-to-video, but about 10 times better, which is WEIRD. That movie led me to the original anime series, and my only regret was that I could only find the first two VHS tapes at my local Blockbuster back in the day.
I love the sleek look you've given the armor here, it's a great homage while updating the style.

ugh...I forgot about the live action movies, lol. I never seen "Guyver 2: Dark Hero" was that the more recent one (from 2008 I believe?) I've been meaning to check that one out. Thanks for the props too! Love all "The Razor Kid" art and comics!

OMG I was just found about this anime recently and I LOVE it. I watched every single ep in one day (on youtube) and this art piece just magnifies the intensity of the show.

It was released in Japan about a year and half ago and we are now getting the episodes here. If you haven't watched them you should. They are real good. The first episode is almost exactly like the original but with bettr animation. Good stuff.
