This is supposed to be a commission for Ludi, an old friend of mine, of a couple of her characters- but I'm not happy with the results. A better version will probably come along sometime after much procrastination, but for now I figured I'd show the world (ugh) the version I don't like.Related content

You are much too modest. This is fine - I didn't expect any great work of art anyway, just your impressions of the characters, so this is really great to see.

Well... thank you. I did purposefully try to harmonize a nice contrast between light and dark- but I think the shading on the faces, though it started out well, ended up too much. And you can't see the stairs below them (dangit) so it looks like Locud is shorter than Elu (which should be completely the opposite way around. I miss your old drawings of them, you know? Whenever I get the whim, I'll try again.

Well, I figured they'd be standing on different levels, so no worries about that. Don't apologise for anything, this is a great pic and it gave me a buzz looking at it! As I say, I wasn't looking for a huge masterpiece, I just wanted to see your vision. Thanks so much for contributing it!
