Description
I made this to enter the "One Stock" Challenge at Level 3I Really liked the main image and was inspired to create this, originally I wanted her looking at her reflection and that was going to be different but I think this work. Took a little liberty with the reflection but I think it works.
Thanks to the following stock providers:
for the Dancer [link]
for the background [link]
for the snow [link]
for the ice texture [link]
for the cracks texture [link]
for the ears [link]
As always constructive criticism is welcome.

Ooohh! This is gorgeous!
This is a really beautiful and surreal looking scene! Great work
I have two suggestions...
-First, there are a few areas on the ice where there seem to be horizontal lines in the ice texture. While they don't look all that bad as a texture, they do look out of place in the scene. Try to smudge/clone them a bit so the ice looks more natural.
-Second, the elf-ballerina's reflection in the ice looks a little out of place. Try to recreate her reflection so it more closely resembles the reflections of the trees on the ice. You may even be able to use the clone tool to copy the reflections to match the ballerina
Otherwise, great work
Best of luck in the Challenge!
Dan

Oh, this is so magical and beautiful! I think the reflection turned out great! The only thing that bothers me a little (and it's very small) is the bobby pin in her hair. I just don't see a magical elf with modern hair clips..
I used ~BBs-Brushes Hair II set [link] and smudged at 85% strength to smooth that bobby pin right out!
Love this, though! Good luck in the challenge!

I see what you're going for, and that's okay. I would suggest adding a reflection, but this is different. Good luck in the challenge!

it's there....it kind of got lost in the texture.....played around with it but wasn't totally happy with how it looked.

Yes, I see something. And, yes, you do have to be careful with things getting lost in textures. And sometimes you do have to make a decision when to stop, even if you're not totally happy with something. It happens to me, I'll go ahead and stop on something even when I'm not totally satisfied and see what other think from the comments I get.
