HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE!! <333333

I thought I'd express my aro-ace pride. If you do not know what aro-ace means, it means I am both aromantic (aro) AND asexual (ace). While being aro-ace is not as frowned upon as widely as same-sex relationships and being transgender, it is still a pretty bad issue. We live in a society where people believe people should have to be in a relationship, some people believe that everyone should get married and have kids. There is nothing wrong with not being in a relationship, and there is nothing wrong with not having kids. It's not like the world is gonna die out anytime soon.

However, I do feel attraction to fictional characters. I am sexually attraction to male characters (occasionally), and I am romantically attracted to male and female characters, but mostly male. People who are not attracted to real people, but are attracted to fictional characters are classified as "fictosexual", but I try to be cautious when using this term since people claim it as invalid, and I didn't want to deal with the drama. So I just went with aro-ace, because I want to show that there is nothing wrong with not having attraction to real people. (or fictional characters for that matter, but that is not an issue)

Just because we lack attraction from both orientations, this does not mean we can't love in another ways. Most of us still experience platonic attraction (which is a strong connection towards something you are close to).
