I've always been an avid Doctor Who fan.Or to quote the Brig' "Wonderful chap...all of them".
I just got some new brushes for inking and gave them a trial run on this.
This is my "comic book" style take the Doctor.
11 x 17 brush and ink on bristol board digital color in CS3

when I told my parents, "when I grow up, I want to be a Doctor!", and when they said," good, you could save someone's life!" I was confused. I didn't mean a doctor, I meant The Doctor . silly parents!

After hearing Sylvester Mccoy is Radagast in The Hobbit films, I looked up stuff about him and learned he played the Seventh Doctor. Since then I have gotten more and more interested in that Doctor.

I think Sylvester will garner a whole new collection of fans by being in both. The 7th Doctor is one of my favorites. Particularly Battlefield, Remembrance of the Daleks and Ghost Light.

Why, thank you. I ink with a Raphael 8404 Martre Solinsky #0 brush and Black Magic India ink.

That's just what I use. Any pointy sable water color brush can work. Most inkers I know use #2 or a #3. I just find I have more control with a #0 or #1.
