Description Me and have started up a TG themed alliance guild on Sentinels. We're looking to build our ranks, if you can spare an alt!

It's Shay, as a female Gnome! How did this happen? It wasn't Shay's first TG experience, and well, it's a LONG story...

Because Warcraft lore is cross-dimensional friendly, it wasn't too much of a stretch to introduce Shay into Azeroth, since Kaelriyu as well is cross-dimensional friendly, though not to the extent of Warcrafts... till now!

In an attempt to prevent his latent power to be abused by the Ra'Xilt cult, Shay took drastic measures: using the very device the Ra'Xilt built to reforge the world, he used it to cross into another, random world. The odds of the Ra'Xilt finding him and proceeding with their plan were reduced to nearly zero.

However, Azeroth was very different from Kaelriyu. Finding himself on Bloodmyst Isle (its collection of portals likely the catalyst that smoothed his transition into Azeroth) he quickly found through observation, the local elves were steadfast on assaulting the Draenei. Unfortunately, Kaelriyan elves look far too dissimilar from these elves, and so he needed to form a disguise.

A chance meeting with a gnomish mage who boasted her affinity for polymorph spells gave him hope. This mage, Gizma, promised to quickly and easily turn Shay into a form identical to the local elves. Gizma, however, was no mage: she was a warlock, and with the willing Shay, she was able to use demonic magic to transform Shay not into a blood elf, but into a lithe, female Eredar, with a form closer to a Draenei so that she could walk about without suspicion. At first, Gizma toyed with Shay, but his unshakable will 'caused her to take extreme measures to keep her pet obedient: she drained Shay's soul, replacing it with another soul prepared to assume the identity of the demon, now dubbed Shayenei.

At first, Shayenei was an obedient servant, but as a spell designed to mold her personality into a safer, beauty-obsessed individual corrupted her too much, Shayenei began to break free of Gizma's control and seek her own path. Originally made a Paladin to defend Gizma, the exposure to the light hastened her freedom from Gizma's control, and Shayenei now basks in the light, taking up the mantle of the Priest. Fortunately for Gizma, her control over Shayenei was subtle, and can still rely on Shayenei as a loyal friend.

Later, Shayenei started exhibiting strange behavior: her normally vapid nature was interrupted by an impressively tactical mind. When Shayenei started discussing Kaelriyu's magic, Gizma knew some semblance of Shay remained. Taking great care, once again Gizma drained Shay's soul from Shayenei. What Gizma now had were, strangely enough, 2 Shay souls.

Kaelriyans have more complex souls than one would seem, made up of a core and resonating energy, and Gizma had separated Shay's. She didn't know, and was curious as to what the semblance of Shay was that could have still persisted within Shayenei. Her curiosity led her to transplant the energy into the soulless body of a night elf druid, who's consciousness had been lost to the Nightmare.

Shay, even in the form of excess energy, wouldn't give up. His soul energy grafted the left over residues in the soul shard in order to function as full-fledged soul: just without the stabilizing core, still in Gizma's possession. However, to do this required his Myrtek training of imprint exploitation. Because of that, Shay's consciousness acts through the grafted residues, while his energy focuses on holding everything together. Now strong enough to animate a body, Shay was finally awake and free: at a price.

To Gizma's surprise, the night elf awoke: and claimed she was Shay! Using nefarious magic, Gizma decided to keep the night elf around to investigate. Interestingly, the night elf would transform, seemingly randomly, into familiar forms: bodies of those who's souls she had kept in the soul shard she had used to capture the soul energies of Shay. Not only that, but after a few moments after transforming, Shay's behavior would slowly warp into that of the original body's. Better yet, Shay would later claim he was in control: the body simply translated his wishes differently. It didn't take long for Gizma to figure out what was going on.

Deciding to have fun with it, Gizma baits out "shifty" Shay's transformations to toy with him. Her favorite, the above Sugarberry, can't help but act cutesy and admire Gizma. Shay's consciousness is the most out of sync with Sugarberry, giving Shay very little room to "nudge" her behavior the way he wants.
