Description
Second part of animals for character design.A griffin, of course! When given the option of drawing a fantasy character, there is a 99% chance I will draw a griffin. -loves-
Ill probably be using this guy for my final as well. We have to create 4 characters, a character bio for each one, and a story. If we want extra credit we can also do an expression sheet and turnaround for the protagonist. Fun eh?
You might also see a change in my fursona sometime soon...explanation will come then.

Well, it is kind of a combination. I did more of a hawk or falcon beak, but I tried to incorporate the great horned owl into the ears, front feet, and wings. Its not exact, but I wanted to put a little bit of the owl into him.

Beautiful! I think this has to be the BEST gryphon I have ever seen. It's proportions are so perfect and the pose is great. His face is just perfect, too.

Lemme just say that this is the most awesometastic griffin design I have ever seen. I'm in love with it! The shape is beautiful, the stance, the face. Oh, it's just beautiful! And such lovely characteristics too. You have to name this little guy and make him one of your characters, for he is wonderful!

From the thumbnail I thought his posture looked a bit threatening, which was cool, but in the full version I noticed he was smiling. So... maybe going for the "2 kool 4 u" kinda thing, perhaps.
*ponders* Hmm, if "mythological creature" were part of an assignment for ME... I'd say the odds would go 45% griffin, 35% dragon, and 20% centaur. Depending on my mood, of course. X)
