Whaaaaaaa?! New art?!
Miracles DO happen!!!
I'm really making an effort to get the art gears grinding away, so here's to a new year!
I don't know if many of you will recognize this little guy. He's one of my first griffin characters and has been amazingly neglected. In fact, this is the first time I've drawn him since he was created...I tweaked his design a little (mostly because I couldn't remember what he looked like...) and this is what I ended up with. I actually started this probably a year or so ago and finally got around to finishing it. Go me?

What really made me stop though, is the name. Falon. Which, coincidentally, is my new-ish name. How did you come about it for your character?

Oh really? Honestly, I created this character so long ago I don't remember how everything came about...I think I just liked the sound of it and decided on Falon lol. Sometimes there's a lot of work put into my character's names, other times they just kind of happen.

Actually, I held a contest to come up with his design - I took different elements from the winners to come up with it. But now that you mention it, I can definitely see some red-tail!

However he came about... he's lovely! You gotta draw one of these epic griffs flying...I don't think I've seen a flying pic from you...i'm scared to draw spread wings >_< they are always so difficult

Yeah, I think I've only done a couple of flying pics...some of which are sitting unfinished on my computer lol. I have one I'm nearly finished with - she isn't flying, but her wings are half-open! That's progress! Lol
