EDIT: For those unaware, our little peanut did pass away.
But thank you for all your love and concern and support! Here are two tributes to him.This is for those of you who've been wondering where the heck I've been the past few months.
See that little peanut the arrow is pointing to? That's my baby.
I'm gonna be a momma. 8)
I've pretty much had zero energy, been constantly nauseous for a month and a half plus plenty of other discomforts you don't need to know about in detail lol. I literally haven't had the energy to do more than what's absolutely necessary, so a lot of things were put on hold, including art. Plus my husband needed the computer basically every night for homework last semester, hence why my artwork has been lacking.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know there'll be a new addition to my family come the end of February! I'm 13 weeks as of today - this ultrasound was actually taken at 9 weeks but I won't get an updated one for a few more weeks.
I'm feeling quite a lot better - almost back to my normal self other than the occasional throwing up and an expanding stomach - so I'll try to be getting back into my art routine. 8)

wow. Our 12 week ultrasound wasn't that clear.
We just found out the sex of ours last week. I hope you pregoness goes as smoothly as... oh wait now that I take the time to read the rest it seems like you going through the normal fun of it. The energy drain is the effin worst! I hated it, felt like my days we're just wasted. But I crazy lucked out and didn't get the vomiting. I'll only get nauseous if I let me stomach get empty. This little boy is making me eat like beast!
You take care of yourself and take advantage of your man! Try this one out. The next time he's eating or drinking something you enjoy snap at him (jokingly) and say "Are you eating / drinking baby's food?! (or whatever it is he's enjoying at the moment) My husbands facial expression was priceless.

I cannot wait until we find out what we're having! We'll set up our ultrasound appointment next week and I'm so excited!
I still get sick pretty often and have a hard time eating - I'm 17 1/2 weeks along today. Its mostly because I get migraines like crazy and that makes my stomach REALLY queasy. In fact, I stayed home from work today because this morning was a total fiasco with migraine induced vomiting and I just couldn't take it lol.

So, what did a roll of the dice reveal?
Waiting to find out about ours was a killer! I practically yelled at the poor nurse doing our ultra sound when she ask if we wanted to know.
We're allegedly due on Dec 30th. But every time we go in they say the baby is a little bigger than they thought and move the date up a bit. Either I'm makin a porker or we goofed on the guess at the conception date. We really couldn't figure it out. our last quote was Dec 21st. Either way the kid will be getting jipped with birthday presents being mashed in with Christmas presents.
wow 17 weeks and still ralfing. I hope your not sick for the entire thing. What have your cravings been like?
For me... Baby has totally killed any taste for green veggies of any kind. I Loved Broccoli, Green Beans, Peas and Spinach. Now I'll literally gag if I smell em. So to balance out what would be a not so healthy diet we got a cold press juicer. Now every morning I drink a mixture of fruit and green veggies. The thing is great! Plus we'll be able to make our own behbeh food.
The only other complaint I have is that baby is putting more and more pressure on my lower spine. As to be expected. But I went into this a little more than over weight and with sciatic back problems. I had two crushed discs due to poor posture (always hunched over my art desk) Causing a nerve to be crushed that would send shooting pain down my leg. Took two years to take care of it and now its all coming back.
Just wait till your guy can feel a good strong kick or better yet see one. Its the best! When Mine saw his first kick, his face was a mixture of fatherly love and absolute terror. He's been quoting Aliens since. Now we're at the point where he can lay his head on my tummy and actually hear his son's heart beat. We had no idea you could do that.
Keep taking care of yourself! I hope you find the whole thing a hysterical process like we do. even when you start getting punched in the ribs Or pee yourself a little when you sneeze.

Hey, sorry for the delay in replying lol. We've had a lot going on.
The roll of the dice revealed a little boy. My poor, very sick little boy. Its amazing how one Dr's appointment changed our entire situation. We were looking forward to every moment of pregnancy - yes, the unpleasant ones too - and now we're faced with not knowing how long we'll be blessed with our little boy. Instead of shopping for cribs and strollers, we're most likely going to look for a burial plot and head stone. I'm heartbroken. I can't do anything to help my little boy so I just sit and wait to see what happens next.
He has a condition called Hydrops Fetalis and has a Cystic Hygroma on the back of his neck. I'm debating whether to post the ultrasounds or not on here. Its kind of heartbreaking to see how severe his condition is. But basically, he's just completely swollen with fluid buildup. The reason its so dangerous is the fluid eventually overtakes the baby's organs and causes organ failure. Its devastating.
But we're enjoying every blessed day we have with him. We don't know how long he'll survive, so everyday is definitely worth celebrating!
You guys are adorable, and I'm so happy for you. Enjoy every single moment! I want to see pictures when your little one arrives!

I had to go look up the condition just to read a bit more. Did they say it was linked to RH incompatibility? Lordy mama how I wish you weren't going through this. But it sounds like your keeping yourself strong. And look, I'm not one for praying. Simply cause I just don't know what to believe, but I really do hope any and all forces out there that could have any sort of hand in our fate is looking to you with a warm smile. I am when you need it.No really, my heart sincerely goes out to you.
If I could I'd give you a massive hug and suggest we go out for something sweet n' mad tasty. Like a slice of cheese cake melted over a donut! A friend said that to me last night as a joke. But clearly forgot who he was saying it too. I instantly tried to make my husband do a prego run for the two ingredients and he refused. He refused me again this morning, this afternoon and this evening. By god I will have that concoction!
Please continue to give your baby the best thoughts you can.

No, its not linked to RH incompatibility because I'm A+. So so far we haven't been able to find a cause. And boy is it frustrating!
But I have no doubt that there is a purpose behind everything we experience in life, whether we ever learn the reason or not. My little boy is a special man, I know that too! Its scary, and hard, and emotionally exhausting. But I've been blessed with an immense inner peace and I just know that everything will turn out how it should. Not necessarily that he'll live a long normal life, but that there's a plan for my baby boy and whatever happens is what's meant to be. And I have faith in that.
Did you ever get your concoction?! That sounds pretty intense lol
