**Here's an alternate version of the ref sheet with a different background**
New Reference Sheet for Erebus. Needed an update as the character evolved.
Name: Erebus
Age: over 30 years old
Father: TBA
Mother: TBA (deceased)
Mate: Nanbu ( Sampsu )
Bio: Erebus had a difficult life. When he was still a young spawn, humans killed his mother while the feral Alpha Mate protected his young spawn. Erebus barely remembers him, only fragmented memories of the day when he was taken by the humans. Daemon nagas were known to be vicious and some of the most feral nagas to exist, but very hard to capture alive. So Erebus was a rare treasure for his captors. And as the years passed by, Erebus only really knew the four walls of bars and an arena where he was trained to be a pit bull for legal fights. In the world he lives in, the arena is where criminals are sent to meet their end for the enjoyment of spectators. And in between, he's pitted against other nagas or even dogs.
And he won ever fight, but not without damage.
Now scarred and damaged, Erebus is more beast than a creature of any civility.
In rare moments, Erebus's childish side and kindness would emerge. He shelters and protects a kitten he calls "momma" as well as he enjoys the company of the granddaughter of his owner. No other human can approach him without showing him that they were not a threat, and if he accepted them they'd live. If not, well... many lives were lost in that mistake.
But that was not the end of the cruelity. As the only captive Daemon, humans tried to breed him with other female nagas of other species, not aware that Daemons were an all male species and that females held no interest to them. And whenever mating season came, and Erebus was forced to try to pair with a female... well, it was rare the female lived. If she was passive and stayed away from him, she'd live. But too persistant when he tried to leave, she didn't survive.
Then one day, the humans captured a sweet male naga that smelled of flowers and instantly Erebus was drawn in. But Erebus was still feral and aggressive. He scared the young Nanbu and after weeks of Nanbu speaking to him, did the young naga began to fall for the sweet misunderstood giant.
