Shaya emerged into the Fae Realm completely in awe of the wonder she saw. As a creature born of darkness, this light was intense and it hurt her sensitive eyes.
The fairies and Fae hid from the stranger. They sensed the darkness within her and hid from what they didn't understand. And Shaya looked around completely disappointed. "How am I supposed to do this assignment if they won't even come near me?"
Suddenly one curious fairy, against the protests of the others, flew up to her. She spoke gibberishly in a language that Shaya didn't understand.
The fairy had never seen a vampire before as she looked at Shaya curiously. Though she sensed that the creature before her was born of darkness, she had a pureness within as well. And the fairy in her excited wonder showed Shaya her magic.
"Wow!"Shaya was amazed. She had never seen anything so beautiful as she watched the rainbow of colour pour down into her open palms.

Hours had passed and the fairy slowly taught Shaya their language, had showed her the wonders of their world. Like any good student, Shaya wrote page after page of notes, needing to ensure that she had what she needed for Professor Jasper Kelsey, the blonde-haired djinn of the Magical Linguistics deparment.
Through the fairy's kindness, the other Fae began to accept Shaya as well and taught her about the different Fae species that existed within their realm. Their different languages and the bewildering wonder of their different magic.
Soon it was time to go back to Otherworlde and Shaya bid farewell to her new friends, while she leapt through the portal
Appearing in the Linguistic Class, she smiled at the surprised look that lit Professor Jasper's face. "Hey, professor," she approached his desk.
"Good trip, young Draculina?" He smiled at her.
"Absolutely the best one so far," she laughed as she handed him her notes.
