Cain touches her face. He had spent so long trying to find her again after he was sent away. Now he had, and he can't hold back his feelings anymore. Touching her face, smelling her scent Cain knew he found the thing he needed to be whole.
"Cain?" Tears fell from Shaya's beautiful eyes.
"I just can't believe that you're here," he leans in, hovering just before her lips. "I'd have waited a thousand lifetimes for you."
Then he pulls her in for a kiss as years of longing flowed through him. "I love you for an eternity."
