Awww well thank you for such a well thought out reply! This style is what I consider my TRUE style. I have always hated backgrounds, because although I love to capture the likelinesses of whatever person/character I draw, I find a boring, accurate background does nothing to make it eye catching. So... well... here we are.

This style is great! It's very fun to look at and brings a smile to my face (at least to me it does, it should to others as well however
I know what you mean about not wanting to draw the same old background. I do admit there are some backgrounds that I just can't get enough of though! I have a little suggestion... Maybe, you can take a familiar and boring background and add your style of colors to it! Make waterfalls purple instead of blue, make grass pink instead of green and, instead of birds in the sky, add squirrels
