Description
This is a drawing I did a looonnnngggg time ago that I came across last week. So I decided to finish coloring it and put it up.
I drew it because one of my most beloved qualities of Sonic's character is his ability to carry so much optimism- enough for himself and the rest of his crew. At times when everyone else seems to be lost in despair, he's always there to carry the burden for them and brighten their spirits.
Sonic always sees it through. ^_^ Nothing seems to waiver his confidence.
I think it's cute how the three of them are comforting each other in some way in this one, it's just a sweet idea.

(If you're wondering where Knuckles is in this, I didn't think it attributed to his character- he's a definite loner & I doubt he would seek much comfort from Sonic. I do believe if Sonic tried to pet his head, he'd give him a studded sock to the chops. )

The lyrics are from the Beatles song Strawberry Fields Forever, being my absolute favorite band of all time I thought it would fit.

"Living is easy with eyes closed... It's getting hard to be someone, but it all works out."
