Everyone's favorite vulcan. (Well, should be.)I drew this on account of the fact that I have not done a portrait in so long, I was getting scared I'd lose the ability to.
In lieu of the new movie and how fabulous it turned out to be, I decided to do a throw back to Nimoy. I was glad to see him reprise the role of Spock. So here's my favorite Mr. Spock, 60's style.
I dearly love Leonard Nimoy and his acting, he seems like a lovely person.
How rare it is to see Spock smiling! But he did have a wonderful smile, I figured it would be nice to showcase.
I was dreadfully frightened it wouldn't turn out looking like him at all. It is my first try, be merciful!
Done in pencil and ink.

Though I'd rather sleep on the couch cause my room isn't the cleanest as in maybe flea wise from my cat

I adored the fact that they got Leonard to reprise Spock in the new movie! Just about keeled over at that I was so giddy. Hahahaha poor Shat- he is hilarious. But I'll always love the Shatner/Nimoy duo as Spock & Kirk, fabulous.
My God, Quinto was eerie spot on wasn't he? Even my mother (long time Trekkie) was freaked out by how much he resembled Nimoy's Spock in some shots. Of course Nimoy will always be #1, but it's clear that Quinto thinks so and respects him.

It's a shame that some of the original Star Trek cast didn't age very gracefully. William Shatner became heavy, and Leonard Nimoy...well, let's face it, Nimoy isn't exactly beautiful anymore in terms of physical appearance.
That being said, this pic definitely brought back young childhood memories. My dad loved the original Star Trek, and had me watch some of it with him.

Yes, my mother is very, very fond of Star Trek. She watched TOS and TNG. At first I was reluctant, as a child the idea of space travel was terrifying. But the characters are what got me in to it, I love the characters.
