Ahhhh I miss Sonic X. <3Did this drawing as a tribute to one of my favourite episodes:
Episode 5: "Clash!! Sonic VS Knuckles" ("Cracking Knuckles in english dub).
Those were good times. :3

Hahaha the train ride was SO GOOD.
I also love the episode where the Chaotix show up in space in ep 65; "The Chaotix's Electric Love Tactics". That one is a scream.

Yet somehow Vector managed to pull it off

Yeah I watched it in english when it first came out, then re-watched in Japanese. HOLY. Sometimes it's like an entirely different show.

Just goes to show how much 4Kids changed it to how THEY felt it should be in order to make it kid-friendly once Sonic X reached North American shores... But don't get me wrong, I loved most if not all of the voice actors for all the characters, although I can safely say I loved ALL of the JP voice actors!!

I liked the voice actors from both too! I never had a problem with Jason Griffith, and I really liked Lisa Ortiz as Amy. I can see why they edited some stuff out of the Japanese cartoon, considering it was on FOX... I just wish they hadn't.

Yeah, I wonder what the creators of Sonic X were thinking when they threw Chris in there. Like, was it a last minute thing, or just to help the story move along?

HAHAHA I have no idea... I guess they wanted people to see Sonic interacting with a human and to 'put yourself' in Chris's place...
I just found Chris overbearing, ungrateful, selfish, whiny, obsessive, and self pitying.
... I think I got everything in there.

Nah, I think you got everything. I remember my sister and I would watch it every Saturday, and she would announce whether or not Chris was in an episode or not. My dad called him little Billy. It was just so fun making fun of him, I wonder why. Maybe that was his purpose?
I kind of feel sorry for him as well, but then I watch an episode with him in it and remember why I don't like him. I don't know if I was the only one who felt this way, but the first couple of episodes he was in he wasn't a total weirdo. Just after the fifth episode or so he kind of turned into a creep.
But if it weren't for Chris then all you could make fun of were the animation fails. So I guess he was necessary.

I didn't mind him at first... but i really stopped liking him after the selfish way he acted when Sonic & the gang tried to go back home; how he shut the machine down. I went OoO!!! What a jerk!
But he was DEFINITELY something to laugh at; as was Sam Speed, Ella and Mr. Tanaka.

Tanka! He was definitely my favorite human. Ella wasn't bad either, but Sam, ugh. My sister and I would always make fun of his car. She was like, "How come he's always in that stupid thing?! And why is he sooo obsessed with Sonic?" I think we also made comments about his hair, and why it wasn't really long and some odd color (Like most anime guys). I totally forgot about him. Maybe I need to watch some Sonic X. Definitely in Japanese though, I liked the Japanese version much more.
I think around the time Chris was following Sonic around into battles is when I started to have problems with him. I was thinking that he was kinda creepin' on Sonic.
Although I didn't really think this was funny, my sister cracked up when Shadow was beating him up while they were up in the Space Colony Ark. She hated Chris even more than I did, and often made jokes about Shadow beating him up (She's a hardcore Shadow fan, but I personally like Sonic, Amy and Tails).

Japanese was my favourite too! :3 And Chris totally creeped on Sonic... worse than Amy! Hahahaha! I hated how Chris got Amy's part during project Shadow in Sonic X!
My favourite Sonic characters are Sonic, Amy, Eggman, Silver and Knuckles.

I find that many people I talk to who like Sonic X didn't like how he got Amy's part in the project Shadow ark (Myself being one of them). I think that mostly the adaptions of the video games were correct, just that throwing Chris in there threw everything off balance. Stupid Chris.
I never thought of Sam and Chris having anything in common, but now I think that maybe they're in cahoots. They just stalk and obsess over Sonic, just in a different way. What were they thinking with all these creepy humans anyway?
I love Silver, and I think he doesn't really deserve all the junk he gets. He didn't do anything wrong (Other than try to kill Sonic.. Oh well), and just gets picked on. It's also funny to see how different dA artists depict him. Sometimes he's just there to get picked on or beat up, meanwhile other times he acts a lot like a kid. Just fun to see what people think when they draw him.
I wonder if they would consider remaking Sonic X, and getting rid of Chris and all the stuff that ruined it. Maybe, just maybe.

Ohhh I wish they would do that! I want more Sonic X but you know it won't happen. 
Silver is one of my faves but he does pick up a lot of slack simply because he came from Sonic '06. I did a few pieces of art on him and some fiction.
HAHAHA Yeah Chris kept stealing the glory from other characters... as if I tuned in to watch him. -_- UGH! LOL

IDK about everyone else, but I really just don't like how he replaced the roles of Amy, if not Tails too.
He took Amy's part of convincing Shadow to change for the better during the end of the SA2 saga. And Chris became Sonic's friend more than Tails did; but maybe I feel that way there because I've always thought of Tails being Sonic's little brother, or at the very least, the two share an unbreakable, brotherly bond.
