I really wanted an updated desktop picture for my laptop, and so I drew myself one. I did it in just a few hours yesterday, and I'm really rather happy with it.Related content

Now that's inventive and quite self-sufficient!
I very much value this piece. It appears to be such a soothing environment, a great place to just sit by the water and fumble around in the grass making artwork or studying or just watching the sun rise and fall. It's very peaceful. I like all your shadowy darkness and bright lights, that dark stretch of sky and the stars that are coming out like mist in the sky. Have you ever done a foggy drawing? I think you'd be able to nail the effect down.
I also love the rays of sunlight coming out, it reminds me of hope and that's beautiful.
I also like the glossy look to the waves and the lighter blue you had for that bit. I think you also shift gradually well into other colors and the blades of grass are practically illuminated each one.
