Monster number 4, the fish. inspired by the awesomeness of the hatchet fish [link] and the viperfish [link]

Lives in the murky waters, which have become so thick with sludge and polution that, unlike its ancestors (the viperfish of today) it can live closer to the surface (the thicker slimey water is darker). It has a thin snake-like body, for moving in the thick water, and has a hollow skull around the mouth area, because it would be too heavy otherwise. As a result tho, the jaw is quite weak, and it mainly swallows its food whole, using the jaw to intimidate, and swipe some prey. It can also slither on land for a small amount of time, if needbe.

This image doesnt have a little scale sketch, but these things are pretty big. could grow to a good 12 metres long (yikes). A main predator in my future world.
