EDIT: my Rusty has nothing to do with dorklys pokemon rusty version (pretty sure mine came first but would need to double check). I named him rusty because i like the name and it vaguely reflects his love of fossil/ancient pokemonEDIT: I didnt use a template, i made it myself, kay?
I got peer-pressured into making a pokemon trainer sona, so here he is
Rusty is essentially me if i were male and in the pokemon world. He is lazy, and never happy with his artwork. He lives in Hoenn, the son of a fossil maniac, and would rather spend time chillaxing with anoriths and lileeps than actually doing trainer stuff, like getting his first badge! He draws pokemon all day and gets angry when his wrist hurts (carpal tunnel syndrome). He likes guys, and is self-centred.
He has my tournament team (i do own this team, ke ke) which is as follows:
*Maynard - Bayleef - Anger management issues
*Craig Regi - Relicanth - A true gentleman
*Leonardo - Armaldo (shiny) - So happeh
*IndianaOak - Archeops - Poffin addicted
*Victor - Cradily - Perverted
*Penelope - Tyranitar - Bitch dont mess with her
I'll make a proper reference for rusty himself soon. For that main pose i attempted sugimori style, but its not my thing really. hope you like anyway

OMG I wouldn't believe there's fossil enthusiast AND an artist in one! and I thought my OC trainer who's an artist, but also freak about paleontology is original X'D
Anyway, I adooore the idea of making OC who's a son of fossil maniac! the artwork is awesome, those Pokemon are hilarious and well portaited and all concept is already one of my favs <3

same, i love anything prehistoric <3 Relicanth isnt based on a Dunkleosteus though, its based on a Coelacanth 
my favourite prehistoric animal is an anomalocaris, so anorith is my favourite pokemon x3

Oh Dear, but I know Relicanth is based on that relict, but just refering to its "mouth", red eye and that I believe it will gain mega evolution 8D

The history behin it is kinda funny, but shows how confusing paleontology can be- I even have a book with meusa Peytoia that became later Anomalocaris mouth XD

Awh, maybe with the next gen or new game series...more and moe Pokemon are getting megas...and those which came with ORAS are generally better than those in X/Y only in matter of apperance, so I stay positve for Relicanth. I personally cannot wait for Dunsparce or Scrafty(with epic cape from shedded skin XD)

This team super awesome. So many different personalities it is great. Plus Cradilly is my favourite fossil poke so I'm really glad to so someone using it. I think fossils are underrated huehuehue.

jokes that i've heard 100 times before -.- gets a little old
well if people comment it would just be nice if they commented about the picture rather than post a joke reference and then complain that i'm being moody. I think anyone would get moody if they worked hard on something and people ignored it and just kept quoting something else that happens to have the same name and be more popular.
