So I stole this exercise/challenge from ! Here is the blank one: [link]Don't ask me about the title, man. I'm just following her naming convention.
I spent an evening on this, and I have no idea why I felt the need to finish, ink, colour, and shade this when it is clearly off in many ways, but um... I did all of those things.
ANYWAYS!
It's Tareth! Because her face gives me troubles sometimes. I will admit, straight-on is my least favourite angle in the entire world. I never use it, ever, except when drawing character reference. I feel it is somewhat unnecessary for anything other than reference, though. You rarely see people straight-on. >3>
I am super open to critique on this!
By this I don't mean "please stare at this until you find something wrong with it," but if something looks off to you, please tell me about it and I will gladly listen to any suggestions on how to fix it! Not that I'm going to fix THIS one, necessarily, but consistency is a thing I am trying to get better at.I'm gonna try to do Severian and Jonan next. We'll see if that actually happens.

I have to say this is pretty awesome. However the upwards back view makes Tareth look like she has a bit of a turkey neck. At least to me that is. Nice job though.

Aww Tareth! I must congratulate on this, because I think this is the most consistent I've seen Tareth so far. Excellent work Shazz! The only thing I see is to watch the width of the neck in the 3/4ths upward shot. Other than that I think this a great reference to add to my collection.

SWEET. You did one!! I love it! She's so cute, and I love her grin. XD My total fave is the downwards 3/4th. She looks so great colored and inked! You rock!!

I've started drawing these for some of my other characters (WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME), and downward 3/4 seems to be working out surprisingly well for a few people! I thought it would be weird for me, but no, straight-on continues to be the most difficult angle EVER. XD

Straight on is so hard for me, and its the first one!! WHAT WAS I THINKING.
The symmetry is hard, and my straightons still kind of look like they're VERY SLIGHTLY looking one way or the other. Total fail. I saw your other one, TOTALLY awesome, I cannot wait for more!
