Yes, another SM2 'Alternate Ending' comic.This one comes from the fact that the man had the biggest, greatest Sad/Kicked Puppy look I've ever seen. I was amazed Spidey managed to fight it off in the movie, though this is what was most likely to happen if he hadn't...
I mean, it's simply impossible to resist big, sad, dark brown puppy dog eyes.

"It was my dream." His eyes got all big and sad and adorable when he said that...whoa. Did I just say adorable? *slaps self* Er, yeah. I don't know how Peter managed not to break down into much pity and such things. I love the way you draw Peter, especially in the third panel. And MJ with "You moron!" is just awesome. That was the best. Not to mention Otto, but we already know how insanely cute-sad-puppy-like you make him here
I think that this should have happened sans the reactor blowing up New York. Because Peter isn't a bad guy, either. I think he should live, too.

Nothing wrong with saying 'adorable'. You can't look at those puppy eyes and not say it.
And yeah, Peter really should have done something to save Otto. Hopefully the guilt will eat him alive again...

Had Otto actually thought of such things, he could have pulled the pillars from beneath the reactor one by one, or two at a time, from beside the reactor rather than under it...then I think he would have been able to escape.
