Here we have a storyline so convoluted that even Lemony Snicket would approve.

This is how the plot began.

It started out with my grandiose plans for a profusively lush tassel necklace, complete with opulent focal and a pearl utopia. It culminated into what you see before your eyes with the only original remaining element being those pearls. What a riot

When the necklace was completed, I loathed it. I really really REALLY hated it with a passion. It didn't sit right. It didn't lie properly. It just didn't look .. right. So I took it apart, started all over again. 3 strands of pearls, 144 headpins and 37ft of 14K Gold Filled Wire later, voila. Meet the lush wristwrapper known as A Series Of Unexpected Events.

Clusters of perfectly plump pearls in Olivine, Russet Brown and Cranberry tango and flirt completely unabashedly along your wrist, radiating a lovely aura of equal parts glam and wearability.

The pièce de résistance?

A gorgeous teardrop charm which is amazingly 3-D. First, I created the main frame upon which I layered whirls and twirls of crocheted 14K Gold Filled Wire. Next came the coils which were arduously fashioned from the same wire in two different gauges and then shaped by hand. Finally, I added the tiniest 1.5mm Seed Pearls to accent the entire piece and to further enhance that dimensional look and feel.

My fingers hurt.

A bee-yoo-tee-full Smokey Quartz Dagger Briolette completes this ensemble.

A Series Of Unexpected Events currently measures 7.75" which, due to the nature of the design, best fits wrists sized 5.5" to 5.75". I've made it adjustable for now so that it also fits wrists up to 7.5" but let me know your measurement so I can guarantee a perfect fit all wires, chains and Ball Headpins are 14K Gold Filled whilst the Lobster Claw Clasp is 18K Gold Filled.
