Alright! This was made BEFORE Resident Evil : Degeneration came out!It was for a University homework, for one of my comic classes. I had to draw 2 pages of a random comic to see how much time it would take me to draw, ink and color it.
I decided to draw one page of something completely original and one page with some....Claire and Steve in it
It was drawn way before the movie came out with all the spoilers, so me and my friends were heavily speculating about who would appear in the movie (namely Steve) and we talked about possible situations.
And I had that precise ending in mind. While fighting for her life in the airport, Claire would have met "reborn" Steve who was sent on a mission because of the outbreak. And after many struggles, they would have make it out alive and ended up on some cliff, where they would see the airport in flames.
And then, Claire would have invited Steve to spend some sexy time at her apartment
And Leon? I dunno, he probably took his Leoncopter and flew away for another mission.
Now...if you look at the first panel....I almost died of laughter after I watched the movie and saw the last scene where Leon and Claire say their goodbyes to Angela. The scenery is almost the same!!!

And hum yeah, I put that comic aside, because back in University, I wasn't able to color it completely. So, I just put it aside...and then, a while ago, I told myself that I should maybe finish it.
So, I've been working on it little by little.
It was drawn very quickly, so don't mind the odd body proportions and things like that

Your story is kinda funny because something similar happened with me. For my Silent Hill movie fan fiction, I wrote an ending where Chris and Claudia fought in a boss battle with Chris winning with the boogeyman knife...and you know, Revelations came out and I saw the ending had a fight between Claudia and Pyramid Head.
I heard another similar story for Silent Hill: Downpour. A person wrote a Silent Hill fan fiction that had Pyramid Head cut a cake and table with his great knife. The Downpour joke ending has the exact same scene.

I recently just got the first five games of Silent Hill. So far, I get what the fans like so much about the series.
Personally, I like Downpour. The voice-acting are all good, Murphy is attractive and I'm still surprised by the disturbing content concerning children and prison. It takes less than a day to finish though, too short. But that's what the side quests are for!

Okay cool. I actually played and finished : SH1, SH2, SH3 and Shattered Memories. I got quite far in the Room but never got to finish it. And I was stuck in Origins XD Also started a game of Homecoming, but stopped playing it for another game
I'll have to finish these 3 eventually or just restart them completely.

SH1 blew my mind. With everything being crazy with reality and dreams merging, I was sure at least that the beginning was in the real world... and then I found out it was all a dream. That's why Harry wakes up in the restaurant and not the alley...
Anyways, I think Harry is the greatest father ever! So dedicated and normal.
Unlike James, who I'm convinced has a mental illness. He murdered his wife, had this whole delusion two years passed, and in "The Room", his father seems just as crazy for keeping that umbilical cord!
Which is your favourite game and character?
Mine has to be Homecoming and Alex Shepherd is my favourite character. The game did have its flaws, but what it did right I appreciate. Alex is also both attractive and relatable, with his childhood and personality. If the movie people were to make another Silent Hill movie, it would either have to be SH2, Homecoming or an original, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, I didn't know if I would like it since it's so old (I played it maybe 4 years ago?), but I ended up really liking it!
Oh yeah...so many different types of characters.
It's hard to say....I like the series but I'm not a huge fangirl, like I am with Resident Evil let's say. So I dunno....SH2 was definitely a great game but I liked SH1 and The Room as much. As for my favourite character hmm....tough question. I find most of the characters bland....Vincent in SH3 was interesting though and I liked Maria in SH2.
How do you feel about the announcement of Silent Hills and the P.T. demo?

I just finished played SH 2 and 3. They're great games, scary, love the art design and sound. But I agree with others when they say the story of SH3 would be considered bad, as in movie material wise, so that could account for it's adaptation to the big screen being a major flop. I still like though.
And I JUST heard about the Silent Hills P.T demo yesterday. I know, I'm slow! But I was so surprised, it looks beautifully realistic, and I can't wait to see Daryl running the streets of Silent Hill! Haha. I find it strange, Downpour was the game meant for fans but it did horrible with them, so it is time for the series to take a different direction. Masahiro Ito and Akira Yamoaka are returning! They worked on previous games and I love their works, and I also can't wait to see the other new ideas of the game developers, such as the glimpse of the first-person perspective instead of the typical third.

Yeah, a friend of mine really loves SH3 and I kinda had high hopes for it when I started playing it and.....I dunno, it felt...empty? Maybe the lack of cutscenes or story material? It was a solid game, but yeah I agree with you about the story and why it made the movie a major flop. Such a shame.
Yamaoka is returning for real?? Yesss.....a SH without his music isn't a SH.
I wonder if the actual game will be in third person or not....or maybe both?

I understand what you mean, SH3 had a lot of live up to to SH2, but in my opinion both were too short, the absolute best thing about it is visuals, the art design done by Masahiro Ito. He's just great. Along with the music, both made great atmosphere.
I think Silent Hills will be in both first and third person. I'm looking forward to watching playthroughs of it.
I decided I won't be playing the Silent Hill games anymore. I love the series but playing the games have been bothering me lately. It's just so dark and actually gives me nightmares, haha. I am going to finish my fan fiction of it, though. I just love Harry Mason so much, and Christopher Da Silva, their story has to be told.

Yeah, I agree that they were too short, but on the other hand, the SH are always pretty intense on my nerves, so I'm kinda glad that they're not too long XD

Yeah, the games are intense. The first time I played I cried from fear. I recently played them as an adult and the games still scare me. It's just... they're so short! Haha, I guess I'm used to playing games that are a bit longer. It doesn't affect the game at all, though, they're still great.
Also, I did play with somebody when I played the games. They were way more scared than me so they weren't much of a comfort. Haha. I think the more interesting thing is when we read online about the games, so much symbolism gets lost when we just run through the game.
I won't play Silent Hills. One reason is it might go one a console I don't own. I'm done with games now. Movies and comics are more my passion now.
I might make a manga version of Silent Hill Homecoming, I just love Alex so much and his brother is cute. They kinda remind me of the brothers from Supernatural, Sam and Dean. haha.

Aside from Silent Hill now... have you seen the recent Resident Evil games, such as part 6 and Revelation 2?
I haven't played it but I am watching a walkthrough of part 6. And I'm also excited that Claire is now going to be a protagonist once again. Codename: Veronica is just so important to me. Played it as a kid, I sing the Burcease song all the time, and I am just absolutely fascinated by those evil twins, Alexia and Alfred.

I really wish that they had gone with something this swell for the ending. Like if they were going to have someone mad and super powered they should have least had it be a BOW rather than just a regular human. The top panel is quite nice especially like the scene is quite a charming one

Leoncopter. I LOL'd. Did he just twist his possibly sentient head hairs into chopper blades and fly off? Because you know...if head is so inflated with "awesome", it would probably do that. Ahem...back to the art at hand. I think this brings back fond memories. I remember you and I discussing this, and you showed me that sketch. I think we had both hoped at the time that "hey! It's been some time since we've seen Claire into action; perhaps this means she will run into who knows...". I think it would have been a better movie personally; if Steve and a rival organization infiltrating Wilpharma showed up midway, especially to save Claire unexpectedly from a Bioweapon threat.
I mean, they could have kept the Leon + Angela take on the outbreak and it wouldnt change much. But poor Claire, aside from assisting Leon in some small moments, had to go at it alone. They could have had Steve show up and not even ever mention it was him in the entire movie; just leave us to guess, so that he could have a larger role in a game where Claire is a protagonist. But ah well, we got some half-witted thrown together crazy. And it still leaves an awkward taste. It's like, Capcom has the chance to put so much more information, and close up plot-holes in each project they work on; but each time it just opens a new can of worms.
Anyways, I love this panel; it makes me think of what could have been, or missed oportunities. But I guess those are things we enjoy to ourselves.

We were so hoping for answers back then. And it ended up that the movie didn't even answer one.
Yah, the movie would have been awesome if Claire had some kick-ass time with a partner instead of drinking tea with the enemy XD
And just a mention or a quick appearance of Steve (without exactly knowing it's him) could have been really nice, leading us to a game he could star in. But Degen was related to RE5. So, maybe Damnation will be related to RE6
Not that I expect to see Steve in Damnation though XD

Lol...Sephiroth-Steve; came at the time when I thought Degen and Advent-children would be comparable. I had a thought about a hybrid Kadaj-Steve character coming to assault emo Leon's magic hair at the time. Ah, memories...
You know, we keep theorizing if they'll ever plug in Steve's appearance in anything at all in this point; and when I read this line from the article on T-Veronica(project umbrella), I can't help but think there's unfinished business in that area: "Research and development involving the virus' application continues, resulting in more new Veronica-based B.O.W.s being released on the B.O.W. market." And research continues, as in after Jabberwock S3 and after the South American incident, I would assume.
So it would seem rather negligent for them to not bring up something of it again.

I KNOW. I get the same vibe when I read that. They do seem to say that they're keeping creating those BOWs (maybe even during the RE5 timeline). It's a minor thing...but it would be really nice if they do something about it.
