Description some new designs! Cutiemarks really stump me most of the time, luckily these went smoothly and came out nice. Btw expect two grid ponies to be finished by tomorrow, all they are missing are cutiemarks. This is my first drawing of a reformed changeling, she's my favorite of this batch. I've been needing to design my blueblood nextgens. These will not be the only ones! Blueblood has at least 1 more child.

   1. Arlie Pearmain, belongs to Patch-of-Heaven if you have any questions about her feel free to ask them! She is the daughter of Half Baked Apple and Candy Apple.

   2. Acidic Jewel, she is the daughter of Pharynx and Prince Blueblood. Blueblood liked the idea of a royal changeling, so he did not push Pharnyx away when they became close. Unfortunately, their personalities led them to fall apart, but not before an egg was laid. That egg was Acidic Jewel. Blueblood initially wished her to be sent away, to be raised in the changeling kingdom with Pharynx. When he set his eyes upon his daughter he changed his mind. She was incredibly beautiful for a changeling, and though Blueblood would prefer a unicorn child he now wanted Jewel, his sole heir, in canterlot with him. Pharynx had no arguments and let his infant daughter go with Blueblood.  Her brother, Gallant Contest, was born only two years after her.

Her first years were incredibly happy. The canterlot ponies marveled at her unique appearance, always complimenting her iridescent wings. There was a difference with how she and Gallant were treated. She got many compliments but those who gave them came and went quickly. With her brother they would not only dote but love him. Ponies crowded him and always wished to speak to him. She didn't understand why at first, blaming it on their different personalities. She asked Blueblood one day. Why did ponies treat her and Gallant differently? Blueblood didn't shield her from the truth.

"It's because you are a changeling, Jewel." He replied simply, going back to reading over some business dealings.

Since that day she has become very insecure about her appearance, constantly choosing to be a unicorn rather than her true self. And the sad truth of it was, ponies did treat her better with a disguise.

   3. Gallant Contest, he is the son of Hoity Toity and Blueblood. Gallant was one of the reason his parents divorced. Blueblood and Hoity Toity married after Jewel was born, only a few months after. They were the 'it' couple of canterlot. One of the most famous fashion critics in Equestria and the very nephew of Celestia. Gallant's heritage was far more impressive than his sisters. Gallant was born in the spring, the day was long awaited. When Blueblood entered the nursery to lay eyes upon his first son he was overcome with horror. A donkey? His son was a donkey? Outrage ensued, he yelled at the nurses, insisting this couldn't be his child. Somehow this donkey child made Blueblood more upset than his changeling one. Blueblood was ashamed, not of his behavior, but his son's appearance. He paid off the staff to remain silent of this.

He came to learn (once Hoity Toity confessed) that Hoity Toity's mother was in fact a donkey. Hoity was lucky to not inherit any traits besides his oversized ears, which could be easily overlooked. With bad luck Gallant managed to inherit not only the ears of a donkey but the markings as well. Hoity scrambled, this wasn't important. You love me! this is nothing. Blueblood was not appeased. If he had known he never would have reproduced with a donkey. This was not the straw that broke their marriage, The divorce would not actually occur until a year later (due to many factors), and no one would ever know Gallant was a contributing factor. In the eyes of the public and Bluebloods fancy friends, Gallant was an amazing beautiful child, and Blueblood's pride and joy.

Blueblood never treated Gallant badly. It wasn't his fault Hoity had lied about his heritage. Gallant turned out to be quite the charming child, always polite and quick to obey his father. He joked and laughed with guests and it seemed no pony cared about Gallant being part donkey but Blueblood, some commented how cute of a mule he was (Gallant was never quite comfortable when people spoke like that).

Hoity Toity took Gallant to a joust one day, Gallant was transfixed by the pretty armor those pony's wore. He became obsessed, begging his fathers both to buy him armor and let him compete. Hoity was first to relent, getting a mentor for Gallant. A year later Gallant entered his first tourney (for young ponies of course). And with his heart pounding he charged at the enemy, and boom! The opponent fell. He won his first tilt and his cutiemark came in that moment! Unfortunately for Gallant he lost later in the tourney. None of that mattered that day, his cutiemark was here and he had found his passion.

Here's just some about these characters!
