Hey, everyone! I finally live! : DThis would have been posted a lot sooner, but I went out of state for an Artist Alley table for the weekend... and was stranded in the airport for two days because of tornados.
Then, when I finally got home, I had to hide in the bathroom because of the tornados here! Awesome, right? : DDD
Anyway, this was a commission piece for daisydropper . They asked for a collar and leash set, which was super fun to make! Everything you see here was sewn and assembled by hand. The leash is also detachable, so the collar may also be worn by itself! : )

Awe, thank you! I've been planning to make leashes for a while, so I'm super happy that someone approached me about commissioning one! : D
Hopefully the weather will be nicer from now on, but I dunno. Ohio weather is pretty unpredictable!

My only concern would be Ohio laws. I might have to have people sign a disclaimer, since there are laws surrounding wearing leashes. I'm pretty sure the current laws state that you're allowed to wear them, but you're not allowed to have someone else holding the other end of the leash? I'm not entirely sure, so I'd have to do some research. @__@

Oh man, thats no fun...leashes in my opinion a leash is suppost to have someone else holding it...
but the law is the law. i wounder why your not allowed to have someone holding the other side of the leash? hmmmm oh well oh and how much will they cost if you sell them there...

If it is true, it's probably just a safety issue. Less possibility for the person being held on the leash to get hurt, maybe? It would also make sure there's no liability on anyone with that person if they do get hurt. That's just me guessing around, though. : )
Mmm, I'm not sure about cost. I haven't really given it too much thought. There would probably be a range starting upwards from about $15 and up, depending on how ornate they are.

Its So Beautiful... Anychance you could remake something like that but with some kind of tough backing for the leash and collar so their tougher and wont rip with a good tug

Unfortunately, my answer remains the same. My collars are quite sturdy, so adding leather would only drive up the cost, and by a considerable amount. While sturdy, my collars aren't made for roughhousing or S&M, they're jewelry pieces that are to be worn as accessories to outfits.
