Description
Once it was obvious to the insectarium that Insect Woman worked at that she wasn't coming back to them from Dr. Wily for a long while, they commissioned another robot to be made in her stead; Mantis Woman. While not produced by the same team that created Insect, Mantis is considered to be both her successor and sister... by at least the insectarium and Mantis herself.
Insect is none too thrilled by Mantis's existence despite never actually meeting her. Mantis on the other hand has only heard stories and seen photos of Insect. She hopes Insect will be saved soon while Insect considers Mantis all the more reason to not leave Dr. Wily.

Infinitely calm, collected, and delicate to boot, Mantis is pretty much a rehash in personality of Insect before she got captured by Dr. Wily. Why? Because that personality has been proven to work well when dealing with insects and children.
She is better equipped to defend herself compared to pre-Wily Insect. Still, she very much is a civilian robot and while she'll not panic per say, she'll more often then not freeze up if she got in a fight.
She's the same height as Insect; 6' exact.
Her favorite flowers are orchids. She is particularly fond of fox brush orchids. psst fun fact: Insect's favorite flowers are also orchids. Especially the blue vanda.

I realized how much she looked like Lurantis after completing the initial sketch that I decided to double down on it with her color scheme because screw the system, I like Lurantis and they're both based on the orchid mantis which commonly is pink, white, and green.
