I've always loved how RT portray Ruby and Yang's relationship - their sisterly bond; how Ruby so totally looks up to Yang and the incredible burden of responsibility that Yang feels towards her (to the point where I think that she occasionally feels inadequate to the role).

I've always loved it as well, especially the almost motherly tones it sometimes takes, like when Ruby talks about Yang reading her stories at night and Yang saying how proud she is. Yang is probably the closest thing to a mother Ruby can remember and how much she relies on Yang is adorable, while Yang is constantly trying to help and encourage ruby and being so proud of her, even if she does sometimes get overwhelmed.
